NHBG News Blog!

Hi Everyone!
I was thinking about ways other than endless email messages to communicate NHBG news with the members.  My first thought was a newsletter, but that seemed so 2010.  I then thought I would try a blog - so here it goes!

I hope everyone's year is settling into some semblance of normalcy.  I know we are all still struggling with the many challenges of our jobs, but remember there are others in the group that can help. I know several of you are preparing for Administrative Reviews this year, and many other have recently gone through one.  So - don't be afraid to reach out for help!

I hope you find this information helpful and informative.

New Products for the Bid

I am working with our vendors to bring in some of the new items you requested as soon as possible and also preparing a list of changes for the mid-year bid adjustment.  Don't forget that many of the ideas for new bid items come from you, so please remember to bring them forward at meetings, or use the online submission form.

Upcoming Meetings

Tuesday, November 18, 2014, ConVal
Tuesday, January 27, 2014, Pelham
Tuesday, March 24, 2014, Londonderry
Tuesday, May 19, 2014, Epping

Don't forget to download the latest Sysco bid from this website to ensure you have all of the latest changes!

IPS update

I recently spoke with Jenny from IPS (Institutional Purchasing Service),and she told me that those of you that signed up should see a rebate check within a few months.  It may not be a lot to start with, but any rebate is better than nothing, right?  Hopefully this will turn out to be a valuable partnership.

Just getting around to checking this out. A new way to communicate. Now you just need to train everyone to use it :)
